Booties!

I may not be the best at keeping up with my belly shots, but I've definitely been busy with other things.  I saw these the other day and they made swoon...in that baby shower sort of 'ohhhh so cute' sort of way so I decided to make some too.  They were a little more work than I planned since I didn't have a whole punch and used a traditional leather maker's tool to make the holes to thread the upper, but it was worth it...I just hope they fit..for at least a few weeks!

 

 

A Work in Progress

It's been awhile since I've posted here...I think I need to work on being a little more disciplined...I thought I would give you a peek at what I've been working on lately...I've actually been making this blanket since we found out we were expecting, but it's been slow going...it has luckily been on the cooler side here, since on really hot days knitting with wool has been a little bit of a torture.  Although time seems suddenly of the essence as I enter into my 32nd week tomorrow...must keep knitting! More belly pics to come...
